How to Use the Freeze Feature
Freezing Individual Cards:
While viewing your deck or during your study session, find the three-dot menu icon "⋮" on the flashcard you want to pause.
Click this option to pause the card’s review.
Freezing Multiple Cards:
Click "Select" to start choosing multiple flashcards.
Check the boxes next to the cards you want to freeze.
Click "Actions" and select "Freeze" to pause the review for the selected cards.
When to Use Freeze
When the card is too difficult or irrelevant to your current goals: If you encounter a flashcard that’s particularly challenging but you’re not ready to update it yet, freezing it can be a useful temporary solution.
Timing: Use the freeze feature if you believe it’s too soon to review certain cards or if you want to prioritize other material.
With the Freeze feature, you can ensure that your study sessions are aligned with your learning needs and pace, allowing for a more personalized and effective review process.
