Enhancing Collaborative Learning with Noji
Noji offers a fresh approach to group learning through the Sharing feature. Here’s a breakdown of how it works:
Collaborative Deck Roles
Noji assigns three key roles for managing shared decks:
Owner: The creator of the deck with full control, including the ability to assign roles to others.
Editor: Appointed by the Owner, Editors can modify the deck by adding, editing, or removing cards.
Viewer: These users can access and study the deck but have no editing rights.
Sharing and Managing Decks
To share a deck, the Owner creates an invitation link and sends it to others. Initially, invitees are given Viewer access. The Owner can later upgrade some or all of them to Editor status if needed. If the link is disabled, new users cannot join, but existing members can continue accessing the deck.
Any changes made by the Owner or Editors are instantly reflected for everyone with access to the deck.
Handling Sub-Decks
Currently, sharing is limited to the main deck. All sub-decks within the main deck are shared automatically, but individual sub-decks cannot be shared on their own. If a shared deck becomes part of another deck as a sub-deck, access for all previous users is revoked.
Sharing Restrictions
At this time, imported decks cannot be shared. We are working on solutions to this limitation. Additionally, sub-decks can only be shared as part of the main deck or moved to "My Decks" for independent sharing.
