Can I restore deleted flashcards?
No. If you delete:
a single flashcard, or
multiple flashcards using the Bulk Actions menu,
they cannot be restored. Deleted flashcards are permanently removed from your account and cannot be recovered by you or our support team.
Can I restore a deleted deck?
Yes, in most cases.
If you've accidentally (or intentionally) deleted a deck or a subdeck and would like to recover it, contact our support team as soon as possible.
How to request a deck restoration
Send an email to [email protected] and include:
a subject such as "Assistance with recovering a deleted deck"
the name of the deck (or decks) you'd like us to recover.
We'll check our backups and restore the deck if it's still available.
Important: Don't postpone contacting us. We typically retain backups for up to one month, so the sooner you reach out, the greater the chance we'll be able to recover your deck.
Can I restore a deleted subdeck?
Yes.
Subdecks can be restored the same way as regular decks. Just email [email protected] with the name of the deleted subdeck, and we'll do our best to recover it.
Can I restore a deleted folder? 📂
Partially.
If you delete a folder containing multiple decks, we can restore the decks that were inside the folder, but we cannot restore the folder itself. Once the decks have been restored, you'll need to recreate the folder manually if you'd like to organise them the same way as before.
I want to clean up my workspace. Should I delete old decks?
Probably not. Archive them instead! 📚
If you've finished a course, semester, or exam period, there's no need to permanently delete your decks just to keep your workspace tidy.
Instead, archive decks you no longer actively study. Archived decks stay safely stored in your account, while keeping your workspace clean and organised. You can restore them to active use whenever you need them again. :)
Deleting should only be used when you're certain you no longer need the content.
Does Noji have a Trash or Recycle Bin? 🗑️
At the moment, Noji doesn't have a Recycle Bin that lets you restore deleted content yourself. It's a feature we'd love to introduce in the future, and it's already on our roadmap. 🙂↕️
