Updated over 3 weeks ago

Creating flashcards can often feel like a repetitive task, especially when you need to maintain the same structure for many cards. With the help of AI-powered templates, you can simplify this process! You can choose the components you want to include, such as definitions, translations, examples and more.

Key Features:

  • Various Templates: If you already have a template, simply select it to generate your card instantly.

  • Create Your Own Templates: Click on the +Add button in the Templates section to design your custom template. More instructions are below.

  • Modify or Delete Templates: You can preview, modify, or delete any template as needed.

Where to find your Templates

To access the Templates menu, start by opening the Add Cards window and filling out the Front side of the card. If this step is skipped, the Template option will not be visible. Once you select the template you want to use, it will be automatically applied to your card.

How to Create Your First Template

To create a new template, click the +Add button. You’ll be prompted to name your template and specify the details for the Prompt. After saving, the template name will appear under the Your Template section.

Template Structure:

  • Front:

the word you wish to study along with its transcription

  • Back:

the translation, synonyms, and an example sentence

If it doesn't work as expected, you can always edit the template or create a new one from scratch.

How to Modify Your Template

To edit an existing template, go to the Add cards menu, tap the settings icon, and choose the template you want to update. You can change the name, add new prompts, or adjust the existing ones. If there are no changes, the Save button will remain inactive.

How to Delete a Template

To delete a template, open the Add cards menu, click Settings, and select the template you wish to delete. A confirmation message will remind you that the deletion cannot be undone.

Now you can create multiple templates tailored to your study needs, whether for language learning or specialized subjects like medical terminology.
