Adjusting Daily Card Limits in Noji

Noji allows you to customize your deck settings to manage how many new cards you review each day, helping you match your study pace with your goals.

For those using the Spaced Repetition technique, you can set the daily card limit as follows:

  1. Go to the Deck Settings -> New cards per day to adjust your daily card limit.

  2. Noji will project the total number of cards you'll get in a day. Use the slider to set how many new cards you want to study daily.

With Spaced Repetition, your study sessions will consist of both new cards and reviews of previously studied material. To avoid overload, start with a small number of new cards each day — for example, from 5 to 10 — and increase this number gradually if you feel comfortable.

This parameter adjusts only your New cards, not including the cards you'll have for review.

Finding the Right Daily Card Limit

Your daily card limit should align with your study objectives. For instance, when preparing for exams like the MCAT, it’s generally best to limit yourself to 30-50 new cards per day to avoid being overwhelmed. The appropriate number of daily cards can differ based on your goals, whether it's acing a test or acquiring a new language.

Noji Premium vs. Free Version

With Noji Premium, you have the freedom to study as many cards as you like each day. If you're using the free version, however, you're restricted to a maximum of 50 new cards per day.
